The 40-year-old has claimed himself to be a sovereign citizen. He has stated that he is immune from American law and judicial processes, as per the source.

Darrel Brooks was convicted of first-degree intentional homicide. He went on a horrific attack during a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, killing six people in the process.
He faced 76 charges, involving 61 counts of willfully harming public safety, and six counts of hit-and-run fatalities.
Darrel was also charged with two counts of bail jumping and one act of misdemeanor violence, all of which he was found guilty of. He had entered a not-guilty plea during the trial.
The convicted rapper was out on a $1,000 cash bond for charges. These charges were brought against him in Milwaukee County earlier in November around the time of the march.
The parade attack took place on a Sunday afternoon. A Christmas display was held in downtown Waukesha, a peaceful, prosperous suburb of 72,000 people west of Milwaukee, WISN reports.
